MISSION

AACDC advocates for the interest of community development corporations across Alabama, through capacity building, technical support, and resource development.

VISION

We foresee the quality of life within Alabama’s low-wealth communities transformed, by the enrichment of grassroots leaders and organizations, as the result of AACDC’s efforts to nurture and build capacity for community development corporations.

HISTORY

The AACDC was developed and nurtured in 2001 by Hope Unity Fund, in response to the need for an organization representing the needs and interests of the CDC industry.
